Why choose Living Format?
/ Most cat furniture on the market is mass-produced and made of plastic-based carpet, sisal, and cardboard. We offer an alternative option for those who have curated living spaces where these materials don’t fit in.


How should I introduce my cat to their new bed?
/ We recommend initially staging the product in a place your cat already likes to spend time (desk, coffee table, that spot on the floor by the heat vent, etc).

/ Positive verbal/physical reinforcement when they use the product is also suggested.

/ It may take time for your cat to begin using their new bed.


Do you run sale campaigns?
/ We do not use discounts to incentivize purchases. Our pricing reflects the cost of our quality materials, the manufacturing and assembly process, and high-standard research and development efforts.


Do you have a showroom?
/ We are currently online only. Add your email to our mailing list to be notified of retail locations that open in the future.


Do you offer customization?
/ We primarily sell collections designed months in advance. Send us a note to engage with our design team to see how we can support the concepts, colors, or sizes you have in mind.


Why is a product "Temporarily Unavailable" if they are made to order?
/ Our small production and assembly team has limited bandwidth each month. If orders exceed what we can reasonably deliver, orders may be temporarily paused on our website. We will announce restocks on Instagram.


Do you offer purchase of replacement parts?
/ Yes, we want to enable use of our products for years. Some offerings have corresponding purchase pages for replacement, refill, or interchangeable insert felt. If you don't see the part you're looking for, reach out to our support team to confirm product eligibility and receive a quote.


Shipping & Returns

Do you ship outside the United States?
/ Not yet. Feel free to join our mailing list for updates.


When can I expect my order?
/ It depends! Most products are made-to-order with 4-6 week lead times. In-stock items typically ship within 48 business hours.

/ We generally don't send many emails, but will update you at multiple stages:

  • Order confirmation

  • Assembly

  • Shipment

  • Delivery

Can I change the delivery address?
/ After a package is shipped, we are unable to make changes to its delivery address.

/ Email support as soon as possible:

  • Order number

  • Billing zip code

  • Original delivery address

  • New delivery address

Do you accept returns?
/ All orders are final sale unless explicitly stated otherwise within Product Details.

/ If an item you receive is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please send us a note as soon as possible so we can evaluate next steps to rectify.
